# Compact controls in Edmetry Focus

Reviewing one settings group before adding more local styling.

A compact extension interface still needs clear labels, visible keyboard focus and controls people can reach. The Focus composition study brings existing badges, disclosures and switches together in one Appearance group. The aim is to review that arrangement before adding more local styling.

The example uses temporary choices; it does not demonstrate a deployed Focus update or a learning benefit. The next step is to test the composition in the extension, including saving and recovery.
